I often get asked "So, what do you eat?" Well... if you're curious, and if you think you'd like to try something different, I hope this will help. I'm not telling anyone that you have to go vegan (but it would be great!) but just by increasing the fruits, vegetables and whole grains you eat, and cutting back on meat and dairy, you can make a HUGE difference in your health. Whether you want to lose weight, lower your cholesterol or get off prescription drugs, a whole foods, plant based diet will get you there! My suggestion would be to start by watching the documentary "Forks Over Knives". I'm here if anyone has any questions! :) "A year from now you will wish you had started today."
What I eat:
Whole, Real, Food. It's as simple as that! Fruits, Veggies, Beans, Whole grains, Nuts, Seeds. Basically, if I can't read the ingredients, and if I can't figure out what the ingredients looked like in their original state, I don't eat it. BUT, nobody's perfect! (So don't point fingers when you see me out having a beer or glass of wine and eating a piece of vegan chocolate cake! Just know I don't do it all the time!)

Hummus w/pitas and veggies
Peanut butter and jelly (read ingredients! get natural with no added oils, sugars or chemicals)
Almond butter with apples or celery
Salsa and guacamole with chips
Soups (Amy’s are really good)
LARA bars
Soy yogurt (make sure it doesn’t have casein)
Bean burritos
Ezekiel sprouted breads
Smoothies with fruit and spinach
Pizza w/out cheese
